Meet: Sydnee Pardee, Paraeducator, Peace of Mind Recipient

Every year, Valentine Roofing’s Peace of Mind program provides a free roof to a neighbor in need. This program supports community members experiencing hardship while continuing to give so much of themselves to others. In October, we had the privilege of selecting Sydnee Pardee, a devoted paraeducator, as our newest Peace of Mind recipient.

A Neighbor Dedicated to Helping Others

Sydnee has spent her career supporting students in the classroom. Her work requires patience, encouragement, and a steady presence that helps young learners feel seen and supported. Even as challenges grew at home due to her aging roof, Sydnee continued showing up for her students each day with the same kindness and commitment she has always brought to her work.

For years, Sydnee’s roof had been failing. Balancing the needs of her home with the demands of her job became increasingly difficult. When her story was shared, it was clear that Sydnee was someone who had spent her life lifting others up, and now it was her turn to receive that same support from her community.

Throughout the project, the crew took great care to protect Sydnee’s landscaping and property. The team worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and ensured each step met the highest standard of workmanship. This commitment to extra mile service and meticulous cleanup reflects the heart of the Valentine Experience.

Restoring Peace of Mind

When the final cleanup was finished and the new roofing system was complete, Sydnee shared how relieved she felt knowing her home was finally safe and secure. Her new roof and gutters provide long-term protection and comfort, giving her one less worry and more room to focus on her students and her future. Sydnee’s story was recently featured by KING 5 as part of their coverage of the Peace of Mind program. Her experience serves as a reminder of the powerful difference a supportive community can make.

About the Peace of Mind Program

Valentine Roofing’s Peace of Mind program provides a free roof to a neighbor in need every year. Recipients include veterans, teachers, caregivers, first responders, and individuals facing difficult circumstances. The program is one of the many ways Valentine Roofing invests in the Pacific Northwest community and lives out its mission to serve and care for our neighbors.

Sydnee’s project is a celebration of compassion and community. We are grateful for the opportunity to support someone who has dedicated so much of her life to helping others.
