Staff Accountant
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction accounting, and the ability to manage a high volume workload while adapting to changing priorities. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and prompt processing of customer invoices and sales orders, as well as managing the collections process and preparing vendor payments.
- Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 annually
- Experience: Preferred but not required
- Type: Full Time

About the Position
- Work days are typically Mon-Fri
- Process customer invoices accurately and promptly
- Process customer sales orders accurately and promptly
- Work with customers on financing
- Enter receivables daily and as needed Produce daily AR aging summary
- Steward collections process as needed, including filing liens and releases
- Manage bill due dates and prepare vendor payments weekly
- Other tasks as needed
Competencies
- Professional communication between yourself, the customer, and management as needed

- Ability to manage high volume workload and adapt to changing priorities

- Exhibits accountability and dependability
- Ability to work effectively within Quick Books and other company software
Requirements
- AA or equivalent experience in accounting
- Experience in construction accounting
- Must be flexible with changing priorities
- Ability to maintain all company standards
- Alignment with company culture is a must
