Seattle Skylight Installation

Skylights provide a unique opportunity to add additional natural light (and value) to your home. Not only do they allow you to stargaze at night and soak up rays during the day, but they can also help with your home’s energy efficiency, ventilation, and roof access. We install three main types of skylights: Flat glass, acrylic dome, and tubular.

skylight material options

Flat Glass Skylights

Features:
  • Double pane, Argon-filled construction.
  • UV reflective coating.
The dual pane, argon-filled construction allows light in with optimal thermal control making these an energy-efficient solution for your home. Our skylights also feature a UV-reflective coating and hand-welded aluminum frames. With both fixed glass and operable options, these are great for any home.

Acrylic Dome Skylights

Features:
  • Sheds water because of the dome shape.
  • Strong and lightweight.
Acrylic Dome skylights are specifically designed for low slope and flat roofs to help shed water and prevent pooling on the skylight. Often referred to as Plexiglas, acrylic plastic is durable and strong yet lightweight, a great material for skylights.

Tubular Skylights

Features:
  • Perfect for bathrooms, hallways, and more.
  • Easy to install.
Tubular skylights are a very popular alternative to skylights for adding natural light. They are less expensive than adding traditional skylights and are perfect for bathrooms, closets, or dark hallways. There is no finishing required when the tubular skylight is installed and it only takes about an hour.
